I know it has been forever since I have blogged but it has been so busy around here that I have put everything else before blogging. So here is the week in review!
Wednesday was a big day! Brexley started swim lessons again to get ready for the Warhawk Triathlon in March. She has wanted to do a triathlon since she was three but there was nothing available until she turned 5. Now that our angel is 5 she is ready to go which means waking up very early to be at the pool every morning at 6:30 for lessons. She was so excited and had a great time. She even packed her bag when she got home so she would be ready for the next day. LOVE HER!
Oh!! She's growing up to fast!!!!
T-Rex turned 6 months this week!!! Our blonde haired, blue eyed guy is the BEST!!! He had a great report from the doctor and has added two bottles of formula a day to his routine, not a fan of rice cereal though. Getting shots was not fun but a minute later he was smiling. He is now 16 pnds and is the happiest, smiliest little boy. What joy he brings to our life. Playing with toys, jumping himself to sleep and sitting up to look at his sister are his favorite things. Oh and his favorite song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow sung by some guy from Hawaii. LOVES this video and it will calm him no matter how upset he is. It's the CRAZIEST thing. Follow it up with some Vivaldi and it's a hit!
This Friday we had a royal family sleepover for FFFN. Yep Brexley got the idea from Sophia the First which is a new show on Disney Junior. Since Gammy was here for the week she joined in on the fun. (So did Boo!) So what do you do at a royal sleep over???? Here's the run down:
- Eat Stew and cornbread
- Make Crowns
- Play Candy Land
- Eat a King Cake from the Daily Harvest (it is Mardi Gras season!)
- Dance (our girl picked Michael Buble! SERIOUSLY one of the coolest kids I have ever met!)
- Watch Enchanted on the royal blow up mattress in the living room while eating popcorn and drinking chocolate milk!
