I think it's pretty cool that this year the 4th of July falls on Thankful Thursday. We are so blessed to live in the USA!!! We may not all agree on politics or the state of our nation at the moment but we are so fortunate to live in a country where we are free to worship God and free to vote and make choices. I love the United States of America!
To celebrate we went to a kids parade at Triangle Park. It was amazing! Just like something out of the old days. It was a great way to celebrate and the kids had a blast! Plus we got to see lots of great friends! After the parade we came back and had brunch. After Michael, the kids and my Dad took a nap we headed over to the West's house to celebrate some more. We had a great time and followed that up with watching the Macy's firework display on TV. What a wonderful way to celebrate our nation with family and friends. This was also T-Rex's first 4th of July!!!!
