It's October!!!
To me, October means it's officially fall! We are so excited because we love fall and October also means it's time to celebrate Halloween! Lots of fun things to do like decorating, the pumpkin patch, making fun treats, our Halloween party and trick-or-treating. Can't wait for each of these events! Tonight Brexley and I read my very old Haunted Mansion pop up book by flashlight in her bedroom! Her idea was the flashlight and my idea was the book. I have had it since I was a kid and if any of my Shields cousins are reading this does that bring back memories or what? I love spending this time of year with our family and can't wait to celebrate. Oh and it's hilarious that every time B acts like a ghost and says Boo, Boudreaux thinks she's calling his name! Fun times! We went and took banana cake to the vets today. It was so great to see everybody and they are like a second family to us. Brexley took Pretty, one of her dogs, and Dr. Joey gave her a shot (she had mange) and sewed her ear where Boo tore it. They are the best! Oh and B busted out her stuffed pumpkin and ghost in honor of October 1st and even made her bed (all on her own) so they could be displayed. Love her!! Oh and it's time to start over with Proverbs for the month. There are 31 chapters and so you can read one chapter for each day of the month. Love how that works out! One more thing, Happy Birthday Anne Marie! (One of the best cousins ever!)
